Following the Boko Haram crisis in Nigeria, the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) developed several contingency plans in the troubled region like setting up camps for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs)... 

 The bloody clashes between government forces and armed groups have triggered large waves of displacement with more than half a million civilians being internally displaced, seeking refuge in the IDP's camps while others have sought safety in neighbouring Cameroon, Chad and Niger.
